Apheresis Technologies, Inc. is the North American distributor for the Plasmaflo™ Plasma Separator manufactured by Asahi Kasei Kuraray Medical Co., Ltd. ATI was founded in 1990 by Brian Cornish. Since that time, ATI has sold over 95,000 plasma filters. In addition, we design, manufacture and distribute ancillary products for use with the Plasmaflo. These products include sterile tubing sets and the PlasmaPro® dual track peristaltic pump.

Our team is comprised of experienced, enthusiastic professionals prepared to assist you with your product needs.

JOHN CORNISH - President

Mr. Cornish has over 22 years of medical device industry experience including operations, quality assurance, regulatory affairs and GMPs. A co-founder and former board of director and VP-Operations of OccuLogix, Inc., John has been President of Apheresis Technologies, Inc., since 1996. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas.


CAROL JONES, CRT, RN, BSN - Clinical Operations Manager

Ms. Jones has 14 years experience in the medical field as a Respiratory Therapist and Registered Nurse working in the ER, ICU and dialysis settings. She spent 9 years in clinical trials for double filtration plasmapheresis, including clinical trial management, training, and study coordination in several FDA trials. She is currently responsible for the training and treatment consultation for therapeutic plasma exchange with ATI. Carol received Associate in Applied Science degrees from Robeson College in both Respiratory Care and Nursing. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of NC at Pembroke and is presently a Masters candidate in the Nursing and Health Care Administration program with the University of Phoenix.


DAVE MUSTAIN - Design Engineer

Mr. Mustain has almost 20 years of experience in the medical device industry, including R&D and manufacturing engineering involving intraocular lenses, hemodialysis machines, plasma filtration and therapeutic plasma exchange. His activities at ATI include risk management, design control, analytical testing, pump repair and calibration and standards review, as well as internal and vendor audits. Dave has one patent to his credit. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati in Mechanical Engineering.
